Department: Operations
Reports To: Electrical Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and in resolving hardware/software interfacing problems on the production floor.
- Panel wiring
- Test electrical systems, circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring on equipment.
- Adherence to and enforcement of all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements on sites, plus communication of any concerns regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their Manager.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- Electrical Senior trades
- Experience in a modern manufacturing environment with previous experience in some of the following: Low/medium voltage electrical power systems, Pneumatics, PLC’s, Instrumentation.
- Proven experience in implementing process improvements including ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision.
- A team player, with a flexible approach.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with Intrinsically Safe Circuits.
- Experience in working in ATEX environments.
- May be requested to travel within the assigned job activities for short periods.
Job Location
This role is primarily located at the ProSys Group offices in Carrigtohill, Co. Cork. Occasional international travel to client meetings maybe required on an ad-hoc basis. Permanent, Full-Time.
